Hey guys. I need some advice I went to look at an 52 s2000 last night which had done 13k with the last service done at 7k in March of 2004. ie 14 months ago approx.
My question is: Does this effectivley void the manufactures warranty which has 2 months left? And does it mean I won't be able to extend the warranty when that runs out?
The car was in pretty good shape apart from a couple of cosmetic blemishes that are easily sorted. It's a private buy BTW.
Should I keep looking?

hi there, my s2k came with the first service at 11k and i had the second done at 20k, they have done work under warranty as its not really a major differecne, different if it had its first at 25k.

I doubt very much if there will be any issue with that at all.

Call honda care line on 01753 590760 and explain the situation to them.

When I was looking, I enquired about exactly the same fact. Honda UK said that if it was on the first few services, then dates slightly overrunning is no problem. If the milage overruns (eg, the first service is done at 11K instead of 9K) then that will be an issue, but slight dates are ok.
