Default Severe Weather

My wife has just had to abandon her CTR in Newton Mearns due to sever snow and ice.
Half way up a hill the car just lost all tractions and the tyres are just scrubbing even in low gears

Now my wife is a pretty good driver, and she knows what she is doing in the snow (and when to give up) but as she is phoning me to tell me I she starts shouting at theis stupid women who has parked up right behind her and is tapping on her windoe saying "have you tried putting it in second gear" My wife still on the phone to me waves her away but the stupid bint just sits behind her, My wife is trying to get the car round and off the road but can't move for fear of sliding into this well meaning morons front.

Anyway well meaning moron decides she's had enough and pulls out to drive up the hill, her wheels start to spin and JAMS HER FOOT ON THE ACCELARATOR carreers off the road sideways and hits the pavement.

My wife puts the car in 2nd turns back down the hill, bumps the car onto the kerb and heads to her folks house to sit it out

Be careful out there folks, there is snow and morons, a lethal combination

Rats, just got up and see we've got 2 inches outside, and it's still coming down.
I've got to go across town to Centre 1 too.

Oh well, guess I'll need to take the Volvo. Just as bad in the snow as the S but I don't care if it gets bumped.

Watch out morons here I come!

In the days of my old 205 GTI if I couldn't get up a hill I would turn the car round and reverse up. This *never* failed

We've got some serious rain here. Lots of road flooding and not a day to be out in the S

Could get very bad if it freezes tonight.

It's just very wet where I am - no sign of snow

Any snow where you are C7BLE?

(Oh... and I can only get the back out on wet cobbles with my tyres - won't shift on wet tarmac at all )
