I was going to go for the Bridgestones alright but just wasn't clear on 245 or 255...
What are the pros and cons of going 255?
OEM tyres are 225 on the rear, as they have the equivlent footprint of other manufacturers' 245's.

Check the Tech FAQ for the correct tyre. Pre MY04's had 16" wheels, post MY04 had 17" wheels.

Stick with either 225's or 245's on the rear, 255's would increase the chance of aquaplaning with no real benefits.

As mentioned above 225's are standard but with the footprint of a 245, so 245's are ideal really but some guys still stick with the 225's and fine them absolutly fine.

Oisin - don't assume your after market wheels are the right size for OEM tyre sizes!
I'd check what is on the car at the moment and copy the sizes

From memory of the pictures you posted, your car had Prodrive GC05, these will more than likely be 8.5" wide on the rear so a 245 or a 255 will be ok. If the car is lowered I would use a 245.

I just had another look at your pictures. Your car is wearing the OEM 245 17" Bridgestone RE050 on the rear.
