Holy thread resurrection, Batman!
Having done the "Doktor Power Magic Eraser" thing on my seats and steering wheel successfully, I thought that I would add another household cleaning product to the list of - er - "Household products which work well on parts of your car".
Bar Keeper's Friend.
This is available as a spray, but ignore that. The version that you want is the powder, available in many supermarkets, Lakeland and Robert Dyas. It's quite pungent stuff, makes your eyes water and clears sinuses.
It's brilliant for cleaning windscreens and headlights. Just make sure that you wash it off thoroughly afterwards with lots of water.
