Shock absorber bushes
Evening all, quick question.
A very nice man and I (and his wife! :) ) will be replacing the bushes and bolts on my car very soon (excited!). I've bought Mugen and powerflex lower bushes, but I've just thought about the bolts that hold the shock absorbers to the bottom suspension arm. Are these bolts and bushes also prone to siezing, or are these generally better than the notorious ones? Cheers Andy |
they'll be fine Andy as the design of the bolt is much better in that they have grooves along the entire shaft of the bolt. The only ones that generally get stuck are the adjustable ones.
As a side note i've got a full set of bolts here so let me know which ones you need. Cheers Rob |
You taking a trip to Congleton, Andy?
|
Cheers Rob, but I've managed to get the bolts etc for a steal from the US.
