Shock Absorbers - rear
Hi
My S has started to make an odd mechanical creaking at the rear, which is intermittant. It comes from behind me, when I rock the rear near side I get a creak, but not the off side.
I am guessing this is probably the rear shocker, will get it checked out soonish. I am a little surprised as it has only covered 32000.
Anyway, what is the likley replacement costs, from the main dealer, presume very expensive, and finally does anyone know of a sensible independent to teh main dealer in the merseyside region - Garage R is an option too.

I remember a friend had to get one changed at a similar age and mileage - 6 months out of warranty - 30k-ish miles.
Dealer put a claim in to Honda who paid for the part, the customer paid for the labour.
Worth taking to Honda for diagnosis, unless it's an import in which case don't expect any HUK goodwill
