Showing her age.. Lacquer Peel
I have noticed that the paintwork has started to peel around a few stone chips and believe it to be age related (she's pushing 16 now!) . At the moment it only appears to be affecting the LHS wing. I take it a full re-spray of the panel is needed? Might get the whole front end, wing mirrors and hard-top done at the same time.
Anyone recommend a spray shop in Plymouth? Have used Graham and Rodgers before and found them to be good, but are there any others I should consider?
Cheers, Chris.

Mine is peeling quite badly now (13 years original paint) and due a full respray next year. I can't recommend a good shop in Plymouth sadly but strongly suggest not using a power spray on it as it will become worse!

There is one on Valley Road which I used to have the arch replaced on my Teg about 4 years ago, they did a cracking job and blended it really well.
Just don't go to rainbow resprays over in Saltash.

I have used one in Valley Road before, it was called Fine Finish and I used him on several cars.
He was recommended by a guy I used to work with and did exceptional work. I know a lot of local large car sales used him to do work on their cars that customers had picked fault with, including Lexus, but he stopped a lot of this work due to slow payment from these big companies. I haven't been there for a few years now, but he was very conscientious.
