Cause of Hove station crash which saw it closed for hours still unknown | The Argus
Can't see the full plate but the last few digits look to be 2 EGJ...hopefully driver is OK.

Passenger compartment looks intact and air bags did their jobs. I'm betting once the driver locates the iPhone they were texting with and gets rid of the headache he'll be OK. Car is a total loss, of course, and appears to be an '08 (?) looking at the gloss black windshield trim, seat shape, and wheels. (Not sure if the UK and US trims are exactly alike.) Probably some good parts will be available soon.
Not sure why it's on the American side of the road...

You're right. Maybe an '07 then? Guessing '08s will have the 5-big spoke AP2V3 wheels (that I covet) now that I look closer. US windshield frames were covered with black tape at least until '07.
Another one gone but her soul should live on in several other cars as the drive train, interior, and most everything aft of the front cowl seems intact.

Poor F20C gone, bled out by the looks of it. Driver took the corner too fast and didn't know the road perhaps? Hove station on streetview:
