Dremelling out lumps of frame will weaken it more than bashing it a bit.

You only need a couple or three mm widening.

The Muz snorkel was different; a truly appalling fit! When I say fit, it might as well have been a Honda Fit.

SORTED!!

The first thing I did was unclip the black hose and put it under the cross member - this bought me about another half an inch of 'flushness' - the bonnet felt like it was there or there abouts so a minor adjustment to the latch and it closes and looks perfectly flush!!!!!

Halfway through dremeling and the battery has packed in.........looks ok though. A bit of spray paint, and rubber surround and I reckon it will almost look like stock!

Phil - When I cut the underside of my bonnet for my Mugen CAI I used some of this to cover the rough edges. It needs soaking in hot water to loosen it before putting it in place, but it does the job nicely.
