I don't know if you realise that all tyre manufactures make tyres all over the world and offer them to the wholesale market, Just because someone in the Uk says they are discontinued for the UK market doesn't mean they are not available elsewhere.

Useful info. Can you let me know where you sourced yours so I can update the Tyre Thread and Forum Favourites, please?

Greenaways Tyres and Exhausts, Newport Square, Launceston, Cornwall. I don't know what wholesaler supplied them to them though.

As I said pot luck if you can get them when you actually need them.

For dash cam, I use a Blackvue DR650S. Quick and easy installation and hard wired to power on when car is on. Can add a little power management box to enable "Park record mode" and not risk coming back to a dead battery.
Blackvue is on the more expensive side of dash cams, but they are very good. Also quite small and slimline. Mine fitted behind mirror and cant see it from drivers position.

Or if she's a bit of a queen, stick a trickle charger on. But I guess that might be a job for the OP as his car is on the drive. Having a dash cam whilst parked up can be a bonus, it certainly caught out a dodgem parker in a local Sainsbury to us who did £200 worth of damage to the wife's car and didn't get away with it.

Side note:

A word of warning...im not teaching you to suck eggs, but get a feel for the car and its idiosyncrasies...too many end up in hedges, and enjoy

Car cover - don't bother, causes more damage than they protect.

Roof hole - I used Stormsure kit for 6 months and it worked wonders. Then I got a Jack Smith's roof for £290 and it's been great.

Dashcam - I like my A119 - quality is great, especially at night. Downside is no rear camera.
