Default Soft Top Protection

Apologies for repeating what I put on FB, but does anyone know or apply anything to the soft top to protect it from the ravages of winter?
Also, I have a mysterious leak from the passenger rubber seal on the top of the passenger window that "splits" in two as the roof goes down. It is the half that is closest to the windscreen, and I have resealed the windscreen, and anything that looks like a gap on the rubber seal itself.
Thanks
Steve

303 Aerospace protectant for protecting, Aquaseal/Stormsure for repairing and the "definitive leaky roof thread" for help tracing actual leak - although I didn't fully get rid of my leaks until until I replaced the roof as I'm pretty sure it was wicking through the seams. Incidentally I asked Monsoon what I should put on it and they said don't put anything on it to protect it (including a cover as it rubs and also traps moisture causing mould) other than keeping it clean with a mild soapy water

If you're parking outdoors there are covers that just cover the roof area.

My 2001 roof is original. I use that Megs kit helfrauds flog

its good.. a bit of a faff but quite effective. Its just a cleaner and a hydrophobic spray like you'd use on biker gear etc. It does bead nicely and keeps cleaner as a result.

mine doesnt leak though
