Default Soft top replacement!

[left]Hi guys,

So my S has finally got the age where it needs a new hood, I’ve been putting it off and patching it up but as the winter is starting to set in, I’m getting tired of leaks and mould!

your choices are
OEM (£££)
Jack Smiths (£) or
Monsoon (££)

but there are others, just not reviewed here. JS gets mixed reviews...

Any interest in a group buy? I am thinking Monsoon, middle on price high on quality. I have one S2000 that needs doing 07 model year.
Can email them to see if they would be interested and what sort of timescale/factory slots they suggest.
(I doubt that model year is important in terms of their workload.)
Assume for now fitted by them.
+1

edit: my email to them:
I am thinking of buying/you fit a replacement hood for my 2007 Honda S2000. I know quite a few other members of S2ki/S2KUK who are in the same boat. Can you offer any kind of discount for a group buy? Is there any period when you would be less busy and able to accommodate quite a few customers? I am thinking most will want you to fit but if not some may not. Also I assume model year is not *that* critical, the earliest years had a plastic rear window then later years Honda made a heated glass one.

Thank you.

Don't think they will bite, as they already offer a generous discount to S2KUK members.

Yep looks like their one-off S2KUK discount is 7% buy only (self fit) should be able to better that for 5 or more?

My 07 needs doing as well, but will have to wait until the better weather in the spring.
