Sticking fuel cap
Over the last couple of months I have noticed that the fuel cap has started to stick when I have been tightening it up after fueling.
I only have to turn it once before the 'clicking ratchet noise starts, but if I apply pressure it has been letting me turn it another 2/3 times before its properly closed.
I have inspected the thread on both the cap and on the tank and both appear to be clean, I dont want to add any grease as the thread is on the inside and I dont want the grease to enter the fueling system.
Has any one else had this issue and is a new cap the only option? Thanks

You could apply some spray silicone & rubber lube to the nylony bit & rubber seal & allow to soak in before wiping off any excess.
Don't get too much down the fuel filler though! It'll f uck your λ and O2 sensors.
