Sticky throttle pedal
Hi all,
Had a search but not found exact problem in previous posts.
Since leaving my car sitting for a week whilst on holiday (I use it every day normally), I noticed that the throttle pedal has a hesitancy to move when I first rest my foot on it especially when cold. Eventually with a little more pressure it releases but then causes me to rev by accident as the initial friction is overcome. It's a MY04. I can blip the throttle by hand under the bonnet with no problem so assume the throttle cable or pedal need lubricating. Any tips? It doesn't seem obvious how I could do this without diconnecting the cable.
Thanks
Tim

All Hondas do that!
First, adjust all the play out of your throttle cable.
If it's still sticky, pull off the rubber air intake & clean out its gizzard with choke cleaner & tissue as follows:
That'll do it.
