Don't need an exhaust, just a decat. You'll net a few more ponies with an exhaust though.
I've just bought myself the TTS Supersport kit and will be running on a Flashpro. Is a 3/4 BAR MAP sensor necessary? It doesn't come with the kit.

I dont believe you need one. 3 bar is c40psi iirc and you wont be running that sort of boost with the std TTS kit, their race kit runs a lot more boost though

i think the stock map is fine to c20psi

Don't forget upgraded oil banjo bolts if you have an early AP1.

If I remember correctly, the OEM MAP sensor is 2 bar, which is 1 bar negative (vacuum) and 1 bar positive (boost). But generally, sensors are designed to be accurate within a normal working range. The OEM wouldn't ever see the 13ish psi created by the SC, and 13psi is close to 1bar so getting towards the edge of its limits, and we'll away from its normal operating range. So, it might work, but you can't guarantee it's accuracy. Hence, I'd personally go for a 3-4bar map sensor.

I had a dig as i was sure the oem was ok with the TTS base kit and HKS, sos reckoned it was good to 12 psi

https://www.scienceofspeed.com/index...0-2006-09.html

and TTS quote it as needed for full race here

having said that it wont hurt, your tuner will know if its needed

Fair enough, if there's experience that it's ok and just about get away with it, that's good to know.

I bought the Hondata 4 bar map to run with my TTS kit, just to be on the safe side and it is only £100
