So doesn't John's car highlight that fitting the charger to a stock car is ok? If the car is otherwise modded then HKS can't really be held to blame. That's not to say they shouldn't have designed a more suitable BOV in the first place. But we all know design and production costs are not easy bedfellows.

OK at 4 we're very close so I'm sure it may be possible to get these made dependant on.
What is everyone's expectation on cost?

not sure if thats about right or if I'm a million miles away, is it roughly 3hrs per item or was that just because it was the first go at making them?

[QUOTE=mikegsi;24166203]I'd have hoped for somewhere between £20-50, appreciate it's bespoke and isnt available elsewhere, the other option is cutting and welding the pipe work which I'm not keen on doing and probably would cost somewhere in the same region anyway.
QUOTE]
Not wanting to discourage people, but £20-£50 would be realistic if it was a small batch (20+).
As a rough estimate, I would guestimate around £100-£150.
Need to consider machine time (Say 3 hours), billet material cost, machine overheads etc...
Don't take my values as fact. Har-vey will get a quote and can feed back something more accurate.
Unfortunately a bracket is one of the more expensive options, but also the easiest to fit. No cutting, welding etc..
(Although new pipe, with connectors and fittings wont be far of £100)

The two i made took around 6 hours but if i had only made one it would have still taken around 5 hours. We saved time as one of us was able to be on the mill while the other was on the lathe. BUT this was just me and my old man, we don't do this sort of thing as a profession, its his hobby and it was something i have been trained in but i'm sure someone who works on machines like this day in day out will be able to do it much quicker.
I will be supplying a sample part and drawing, so that they can judge the quickest and easiest may of making them over the weekend. Honestly the mill work could be completely swapped out for a grinder as its purely for aesthetics and not function, saving some time and money.
have no idea how much these are going to come back at but i would think, anything under £100 is a good price.

I could laser the cut the flanges for a small quantity if it helps. I'd do it for the cost of the postage only.

If budget is tight, then laser cut flanges and welded on tube would be the cheapest option.
Again, happy to CAD up flanges with required dimensions and send the CAD files to be laser cut if it would help. (Unless Lower can CAD and Cut).
