How does that £3-4k break down?

By my rough calc you have at least £2.5k of new parts listed

Did you ask for exactly what you've listed above from TGM ? Do you know your adjusters are seized for sure and that chopping is necessary ? I'd try and re-think what you're after and maybe break it into chunks of work starting with de-seized bushes, in which case you'd still probably be looking at £1500-£2000 and even then TGM aren't making money on it.

To answer your original question, I live in Emsworth and I don't know of anywhere I'd take mine apart from TGM (I did my bushes on the drive, a PITA of a job but definitely doable DIY)

They are quoting a lot of money because it is quite a big job, i did my rears overs christmas on axel stands you will be able to find my thread if you search, i think all in materials and stuff i had to buy to do the job it cost me a good £7-£800, and i have worked it out if i was to do my front compliance bush's with mugen and power flex the other im looking at £320 parts, and then probably £80 for an alignment, so im hoping my bush's pass the MOT at end of may

Did you get the TGM quote direct from Tom or his office lady (that's not meant to be derogatory).

She initially quoted me worse case £3k for my suspension overhaul, but Tom said that was incorrect and halved it. She was only trying to help based on previous experiences but was wildly off.

I've just cut all the bolts out myself. Don't worry about the caster bush. I found that one the easiest one to cut out, just get your hands on a decent rip saw and decent blades. dewalt saw I borrowed but I brought Bosch blades and dewalt extreme blades and the dewalt ones were the daddy's. I can't believe people charge 3k for this job because it's not that hard, I'm doing it and I've gone way further removing subframes to paint the underside of the car.I wouldn't call myself a master mechanic by any means
