Default T1R's

Ive been searching through previous posts and everyone seems to reccomend these tyres.

Question i ask is why is it stated in the FAQ's to get 245/45/ R16 when the car currently has 225/50/r16 on?

The local tyre place cant get any 245/45/ R16 until 31st Aug but they can get 225/50/r16 tomorrow?

Will they be ok? im not to clued up on tyres and what not???

I'm running T1-R's all round, and went for the 245's at the rear, the larger size gives a closer size contact footprint to the OEM S02 and thats why its recommended. If you go for the 225, you wont get the same amount of rubber on the ground and therefore less dry grip

Read the tech FAQ, it explains why on non S02 tyres you should have 245
