Default Tailpipe trim

The chrome tailpipe trim unit on my post-facelift 2004 S2000 has come loose on the drivers side, so I have removed it but cannot work out which bit has broken. Inside the oval hole on the underside is an intact cross-piece with what appears to be a bolt welded to the upper surface. It may be that the lower part of this bolt has broken off, but the edge is fairly smooth. Can anyone clarify what it ought to look like - or have a diagram or photo which makes it clearer ?

Found this online. There will be or should be a bolt you screw into the welded on nut and tighten up to the exhaust
