Tasty S
|
I saw that the other day...
The advert is well written so I was quite impressed with that, and also surprised. The car is not to my taste at all though :) |
this was featured in modfied motors an irish modding mag.
not my taste! :barf: |
Seen this, it's fairly local ..
Not my thing at all .. "A lot of time and money has gone into that". |
Looks like its got a flux capacitor!
|
Was on Ebay the other week. Didnt get any bids iirc.
|
POS
|
What is that on top of the glove box?

I don't. But I can at least recognise that the guy has spent time and money doing it. |

I have seen a lot of photos of this car and it looks very well put together. Not my cup of tea either but I am sure others will like it. |
Not for me im afraid, looks like its done upto a good standard.
I think the veilside kit totally spoils the S! Oh and a DC mainifold! haha |

It may not be to your taste but that doesn't make it a POS. It has been very well done - if you like that sort of thing.

:iagree: Of the max power styled S2000s, this is one of the better examples. Still, not to my taste either.
|
The interior has been very well done.
I can't imagine all the added weight and 19's do much for the handling and the ksport shocks were largely dismissed as a credible suspension option by some members on here. I'm sure there's plenty of people looking for aesthetics above function and, overall, it's been modified to a high standard. Not for me either but it's better than some of the monstrosities out there. |
I seen it in pistonhead few months ago, on and off...guess nobody wants it :brokehrt: Heartbreak for the owner spending $$$$ on it
|
Nope definately a POS
|
As mentioned above its been for sale for months, at least 4 or5 and started out priced around 18K - considiering the mods to it (and if that sort of thing is your bag) I reckon that is a bloody good price right now ... personally I think it will sell at that price I hope so for the owners sake!
|
:thumbdn: :barf: :barf:
|
the only person who would want that car is the person who modded it.

I think matey boy might be hanging onto that bogey for a little while longer. |
Sorry but that is awful!!
Yeah lots of money and time spent but surely a complete waste of time. It won't sell and it will end up sitting in the back of some garage and collect dust and that is the definition of a "waste of time" |

Like me you may not see the merit in the bodykit, the combinations of mods or the combination of colours. You cannot doubt that it has been done to a high standard and the owner clearly likes it. It's featured in some car mags so at least a few people on the modified scene must think it's quite nice. To dismiss the car as a POS is unfair when you consider some of the modified tat that's running around the roads currently. |
Lime green...AND red... :yikes:
Def not to my taste! |
I think that the biggest problem is the colour. I think that if it was in a more neutral colour it would be a profitable buy & part.
|
Its not to my taste but you have to respect the effort that has gone in to making it THAT ugly!
|
A few of us have seen it in the flesh. Alex is the guy who did it - top bloke too (even if his taste in colour is 'different' )
It has to be seen in the flesh to be appreciated IMHO. :) |

Stunning car in the flesh and the owner's a top lad
the bodyshop that built that car are currently in the throws of re-designing mine as well |
What do you think it's worth in parts? Maybe worth buy and stripping for parts and then selling the rest on?? Just a thought :thinker: Kiwi |
Colour options aside...
Do you know what would really screw up those smooth lines on the front? A forward facing number plate :egads: I would look really nasty if it had one on. |

seriuosly though, I don't think I'd want it. But poor guy seems to have put a lot of time and thought into it and he's done a good job. But I think if you're gonna mod your car so much you have to prepared to keep it as it'll be for your taste only and you'll never see your money back. |
