03 AP1 - Soft Top Replacement
Hi Guys,
I'm fairly sure this question has been asked many times before!
I live in Newcastle and was just wondering if anyone up this area has had a Soft Top replacement done before and where from? I got a quote for a replacement that was £1250 fitted which I thought was a bit on the urm .. pricey side?
I've got the 2 Common small rips in the soft top that are patched underneath and holding well but the tip on top is slowly getting bigger each time the top is put down - From what I've read this is because of UV Damage and overtime the top just gets brittle.
I've seen a few guys recommend people down Brighton way for the replacement but ideally I'd prefer someone local or about 2 hours max?
Thanks for any suggestions!

It has been asked frequently, see here for some suggestions (all a rather long way away from you I'm afraid).

I think someone in Sheffield had his done, have a search for Sheffield and Roof and you might find something.

Perfect thanks for the response i'll have a look!
I'd heard of Monsooncarhoods they're apparently meant to have great reviews but as you say all a rather long way away! Might have to bite the bullet and make a day out of it I think unless something pops up closer to home.

Have a look at Car Hood Warehouse, I have one of their mohair hoods and it is pretty good.
They have fitted hundreds of s2000 roofs and really know what they are doing.
