Tegiwa Hi Flow Cat

Hi All
Has anyone had experience with the Tegiwa HFC please?

I've got one on my car, running it for nearly 2 years now. Throttle response feels sharper, mid range and top end feel a little stronger but the change in sound is what makes it, gives a more aggressive, hollow yowl on my HKS single, plus some lovely pops and gurgles and a nice rasp on the overrun.

Will the tegiwa hfc pass an MOT? They are 10% off this weekend so I’m tempted.

Did you end up buying one and getting it on the car? I've got the same dilemma at the moment as my old cat is on it's last legs according to this years mot

Mine has passed its MOT the past 2 years. The cat needs to be warm though, so I tend to give it death before the MOT.

[left]No I ended up with a Berk HFC because the Tegiwa is only available in 70mm bore. My Tracy header is OEM bore and I have a Legalis -R exhaust to be fitted too with OEM bore.
Not fitted any of the above yet as we are driving down to Lake Como etc. this Monday and the wife was concerned that I might “cock the car up”

Just curious on the choice between this and the Berk and whether the smaller or bigger bore is best suited to the OEM exhaust with UK mod done.
Generally in my history louder = better but don't want it sounding too raspy or tinny if that makes any sense.

I have one on mine out here in Spain.

It worked fine for 6 months and then kept throwing CEL's, had a right back and forward with spacers and a new O2 sensor and still threw them, but since kicking off to Tegiwa it hast come back on. To be fair to them they sent me another spacer to try and a pack of harribo.

It does make the engine note in the mid range a little more throaty, and throttle response is slightly improved. And i dont know how much an OEM one costs in the UK, but Honda Espana quoted me 1800 euros plus IVA!!!!
