Temp Rear plastic screen repair
Hi every one my plastic screen cracked down the middle the other nite so was gutted. I was going to attemp some kind of fix using some flexable plastic and then bond it over the crack using clear silicone but trying to hold it in place while it dried would have been difficult. so in the end decided to go to b&q and found some thick clear and fairly wide repair tape i have stuck a few strips on and it looks ok. I did give the surface that i was sticking to a good clean with alcohl wipes then dried it and stuck the tape on i reckon be ok for a temp fix.

Or just drive topless
On a serious note.. Can you not cut out a section and use some sort of adhesive as it is already ripped? If you mess it up it wouldnt be too bad as Im sur eyou were planning on changing the roof anyways?

mine has cracked badly... after finding out the cost of getting it fixed, I went out and bought some transparent duct tape.
it's now all duct taped up. Best bit is, it still lets the top fold down correctly!
So I'm just driving with the top down most of the time, and it's sealed when the top is up and parked.

I didn't even use fancy tape, just standard 2" wide clear sellotape. It has held through the winter rains and snows, and plenty of folding / unfolding activity.
Shame it looks SUCH a mess.
