88.9 pence per litre.

Been available for ages. Need to pick your time to avoid the queues.

Also available at Talbot Green Tesco.

I don't know if it's a JDM effect, but mine's definitely better on Tesco 99 than anything else (never tried VPower, but I never thought much of Optimax). When I was commuting in the S, I'd be alternating between a tankful of Tesco 99 from Bristol, then a tankful of Tesco 97 from Banbury, and I could definitely tell the difference. And I'd always buy less of the 97 as the 99 gave better mpg.

The one in Bradley Stoke. I was suprised, I thought it was only the south east. I don't understand why they don't want the rest of us to have it.

I've been using the Tesco 99 stuff for a while now, but last time I needed to fill up I put in some of the BP 98 petrol, and I think the engine sounded and felt as it was breathing better. This is probably a load of b*llocks, but I filled up with Tesco 99 tonight and the car definately seems to sound more restrained again.

One thing is for sure that my car doesn't like Tesco 95!!

My 54K service is booked for 4 Nov so I've decided to stick to the BP Ultimate (I think it's called) after that, if I can get it locally. On less than 5Kmiles a year it's worth the extra cost.

I know I've said in the past that the Optimax fans were a bit elitist and could they really tell the diference?, but maybe I should take that back now, although I never got it with Optimax.
