Default Thinking about getting a pair of these

As per title

They are made by Performance Friction (USA I think) obviously they are a 2 piece design, they will wotk out the best part of £600 for a front pair but they are so beautiful I want them badly, I ate my front brakes at Donnington last month so a new set is on the cards (not urgently though) they are a direct replacement for the std discs, to be honest I'm not sure how much extra benefit they will give me over the normal 1 piece arangement, any thoughs ?

Cheers.....Tony..

Until I find a tyre that won't lock up with Dixcels, I won't be changing the on the race car.

You cannot beat them.

PF are great and i'm glad they are finally making a 2 piece, but you do not need 2 piece discs for the odd trackday.

I have a set of these on my Evo, amazing quality, these are genuine floating discs, rather than just 2 piece discs and bells.

I was having loads of problems with brake judder on the Evo and decided to switch to these along with a set of Carbotech XP10s, the stopping power is unbelievable and never had fade on track.

The discs have lasted years and they are still going strong. They are very pricey though, but are great quality and last well.

I was going to get a set for the s2000 but just couldn't justify the cost and ended up with Bremtech grooved with Carbotech XP10s which seem to be very good quality bang for buck.

Chap on the dutch forum has just bought some:

He's using them with yellow pagids and seems to be impressed with the braking of them.

I have Yellow pagids (rs29) on my Datsun they are a relative sedate pad compared to performance fictions pf01 pad. To the OP try the pf01s they make a lot of dust but the stopping power and fade resistance is emmense.
