Thanks for your input guys, I know they are totally unecesary really but they just look so bloody good, well spotted winFreak those pics just confirm how how much I need some serious brake porn on my car, the one thing I hadn't accounted for is the wife I started dropping some hints last night about how much my new brakes are going to cost and I nearly had to get the defribulator out for her so alas my brake porn may have to be downgraded to some Dixcels although they are about £500, makes the PF discs almost good value, but it may be easier to sneak £500 past her rather than the best part of £750

Cheers.....Tony..

I have a set of Dixcel Slotted FCR discs I can let go for half price delivered if you are interested? New they are £350.

Reason for sale: I've gone BBK

Reason for the cheap price: They have some superficial scoring (Dixcel Z pads ate themselves on track). The discs have only covered 4000 miles and have no lip or warping etc. I have just completed a 3000 mile trip around europe after the discs were scored and they performed faultlessly including routes like the stelvio pass, so I can attest that their performance is not effected.

PM me if interested

Ah ok you mean the full setup.

Just pointing out the discs are half the price of the PF, so you have pads on top of the PF too.

Though you just re-use the top hats, so depending on what price the actual rotors are it might be a good punt in the long run.

On the Datsun? Simply price, I know they are ment to last long but they are about 2.5k with bells and pads which is double my current 'solution'

For the Honda - after buying the front and rear BBK I haven't had to replace the discs yet. It will certainly be a consideration in the future.

AAARRRGGGHHH this is now getting out of hand, the wife said that if I buy her some Christian Louboutin shoes (£500) then I can have the discs. so that is £500 + £600 + £150 for pads so that is £1250 think I may need to calm down a bit and find a different way of getting some brake porn.

Cheers.....Tony..
