Did you notice a drop in mpg after fitting it?

I seem have gone from a regular 28mpg to 24, 20 and 23 on the last 3 tanks
But I am having a lot of fun

Is this change typical?

Are you accelerating more often to hear it?

If you are accelerating more often for the sake of hearing it, which can be sub-conscious then that could be a factor.

Fuel use should be down, not up with less restriction in the intake. I get approximately 28mpg (US gallon at that) with my '06 and K&N FIPK. When I measure it on in the interstates. Easy 300 miles on a tank at 80mph.

That's what I use to get.

I've got a longish (100mile each way) trip to donington this weekend so I'll drive sensibly and see what I get.

Yes I am interested at the right price! Bear in mind there are full sets on ebay from £80-£200...I'm looking to collect though and some of the ones I like are a bit far or have ropey tyres.
