Just wondered if anyone in the Southampton area could help me out ....

would like to lower my gear stick down a touch . So I guess I need to rethread down the shaft a bit ( oo er) and cut a tad off the top ? Anybody have a implement to do this ?

you just want a deeper threaded knob ooer

guess you could shorten the stick and run a die down to extend the thread

i think people call them countersunk knobs - google it

You might want to approach cutting the linkage down with caution. Not sure, but it might be hardened steel, in which case, you will 1) have "Fun" cutting through it and 2) have even more "Fun" cutting the new thread.
Im surprised you want it lower, as the S2000 gearstick does not exactly sit very high.

Ok I'll scrap that idea then ! Already bought a gear knob from Si , a CR one ? Looks nice with yellow gear selector colour
