Thinking of selling?

Im planning on keeping them as my standard calipers are pretty much dead from all the trackdays i have done so i will probably fit them over the winter. I need to find someone who can knock up a spacer first thou.

The issue if i remember from the endless posts i read online is that when the pads have worn past a certain point then there is the chance they can drop out of the carrier. This post explains it better

If you use the correct disks I don't see it being a problem.

I've not looked at too many posts but I imagine the disk needs spacing out approximately 6mm if you want to use the accord disk, which I do as it is thicker, coupled with the accord calipers and accord pads there shouldn't be a problem with the pads falling out.

Once my calipers arrive I will look into the spacers, if I have to get some made I will post it up in here and see if I can sort everyone else out at the same time.

Just buy another set of OEM calipers. The Accord swap won't gain you anything in terms of performance.

There s quite a lot of evidence to suggest the contrary.

I think its because the accord uses larger brake pads so they last longer.

I can dig out the part number i used to order my calipers from rockauto.com if you want. They came fully refurbished and they were pretty cheap considering.

So what disc are you planning to use? i thought the only discs you could use with this caliper set up was the ones from racing brake at huge cost or use the standard s2000 ones with a spacer.
