Default Track S2000

I normally post on Facebook these days, but I thought I'd try and get back on the site and share some of my track car pics here.

Current S2000 Spec:
  • Ap1 S2000 Sprayed in GT3 Grey.
  • Standard F20C.
  • Tegiwa manifold.
  • Buddy club spec 3 racing exhaust.
  • Fully stripped, with Custom cages full race cage.
  • Square setup, running 17" ADVAN RG2, with 245 TOYO R1R Tyres
  • Hardrace Toe Arm
  • Fully polybushed
  • Meister R suspension
  • and a load of other bits and bobs........ spacers... bump steer kit.. the usual.
Car is running really well at the moment, and i'm extremely happy with it. Few pics of it currently (On stands as i'm giving it a quick service and check over before my next track in a couple of weeks):

I am currently in the process of building a new engine for it, as I would like to compete in the near future.

The Top end is all complete, running Supertec titanium valve springs and retainers, and also switched to Supertec exhaust side valves.

Currently working on the bottom end, which will be having new Darton dry sleeves, K24 crankshaft. H22 Rods, and haven't decided on pistons yet, but they will be standard bore.

New engine is more of a long term project as the standard F20C i'm currently running is running well at the moment.

Pic of the current sleeve condition. this engine has 112k on the clock.

This was the worst cylinder, as far as I know the engine was running fine like this, and I would imagen most F20C engines will now have this amount of wear after 16 years reving hard!

Any idea how much weight you've removed?

Thanks, will keep the stock intake for now. I maybe adding a TTS supercharger bottom mount race kit, so If anything, that will be replacing that.

Not sure, but the cage would replace most of the weight removed. I will get it weighed when its all done.
