Trading In For A New CTR GT
Ive have the car 2 years now I've enjoyed it but I called Honda the other day and they offered me more
Than I paid for my S2K so I've ordered the new Civic Type R GT in white should be here mid Dec time
I've gone for the Red interior Pack and some other Carbon goodies, and asked them to have a custom
Red and black decal running front to back so should look something like this

Well done.
I'm debating test drive...because I fear I may want one.
A petrolhead mate has driven on and really rates it:
Saturday Job 1 - scare the salesman! Loved it. Engine superb, gearbox bang on. Ride is RenaultSportlike in normal mode, but turns all track day at the touch of the R button. Doesn't feel like a turbo, just a bigger VTEC. Brakes are face changing. Tonne up is so easy. Would cover ground seriously...Awesome piece of kit. Now just need to find £30k...
And
The dark grey or black seems to work best - hides the spoilers whereas the blue and Milano red (the colour of my original type R in 2002) accentuates them...bit boy racer...remarkably cohesive in the dark colours though...I did a full bore 20-120mph through the gears...grin inducing a la Black Frog...

To be fair I wanted white or red but the when I asked Honda the next available GT model is white,if I could wait till Jan there
Would be a Red and Black, but i'm driving back to Bristol in Dec anyway so timing is good and I love the stand out
Look at me which the white gives you thats why I'm also having the decal fitted
All my friends have Merc's and BMWs and I love some thing which stands out
I've not test drove the car but can't see me not looking it

It's up against some stiff competition at the on the high side of 32k for the GT model
There the Golf R ,great car good and allrounder but I see them every day being as I work in Wolfsburg
Ford Mustang V8, very cool car real power house but is it a drivers car ??
Next Year the new Ford Focus ST , its going to be good but look to much like a standard model
Renault Megane Trophy R , its French
I know you can say a 3 year old Boxster but I want NEW

3yr PCP/8k miles pa - £3k deposit and £460pm for the Civic...their numbers are just too high due to high APR rate and poor GFV....something from the German stable is significantly cheaper so its no surprise.

However, production is limited--only making them for 2-years; 1500 in the first year and around 4000 total production for all markets apparently
They will sell them all
But I don't care, I've owned mine since July
Chris.
