Truxton skid pan in your own car
Anyone done one of these days? I've had a voucher bought for ages but haven't got round to booking in till this Saturday. I'm pretty excited, first real opportunity to get the back out in a safe and controlled manor. I'm hoping it'll give me more confidence in the car and teach me the skills to get the most out of it as well as how to react should that time come. Hopefully I'll get my GoPro found in time and get some footage if they allow that. Cost me £99 and it's on for an hour.

Did this a few months ago. It is good fun, but all at much slower speeds than you might imagine, about 20mph! It's so slippery that that is all you need. Good fun, glad I did it, but not overwhelmed by it. I really need to do a proper handling day, although it's a lot more expensive, esp inc tyres!

Cheers Chris. Pretty much what I'm expecting. I paid £400 odd for driver training at Milbrook with the MLR but I thought it wasn't that great. £99 for this sounds much better.
