TTS Rotrex Supercharger.
SubscribeMB. No im not selling it now, i just saw a very cheap E46 M3 but it went so im going down this route!
The stage two kit is not much different from the stage one, think its an uprated fuel pump and slightly bigger injectors.
Yes i wasnt going to upgrade to a full EMS, Richard said it works fine with a AMS system running the second fuel rail, so you have this also and it works fine, thats good. thanks

why stage 1? go for stage 2 minimum, im running the bigger stage 3 blower but with a 50mm restrictor fitted on the inlet, theory is it produces more torque mid range.

I dont run the second fuel rail but its a good system, off boost your running with the OEM engine management so idle and cold start are not effected because its using the standard injectors, once the FIC detects bost it steps in and adds more fuel untill the max delivery of the standard injectors then brings the second set in to supliment them. One added benifit of this should you snap an SC drive belt you simply remove the filter from the end of the SC fit it on the end of the throttle body and drive home as a standard NA car
How is your throttle response compared to standard?
Re Stage 1 / 2, you can't say what someone wants!
I don't want a massive hike as i'm sure others don't either. It's down to personal preference and what you use the car for

I cant say what you want true, but i am willing to bet later down the line you will wish you went for a stage 2 its only £500 more and would cost a lot more to step up laterOriginally Posted by MB,Feb 4 2010, 05:22 AM

you can always put a block of wood under the accelerator pedal
dont forget you get more torque with a bigger SC so top line power could be the same if you restrict the infeed.
throttle response is hard to describe, the engine keeps its revy nature and you still have to ride it hard to get the most out of it, for me i would typicaly keep it around 6k waiting to overtake then floor it and the responce is instant, you can drive around at 3k no problem and you change gear less in normal day to day driving but as the NA you need to rev it to get the best out of it kind of like VTEC+ i like this as it keeps the car feeling like standard only more, im getting the same HP at 6k i was at 8k before

I had mine on the car for 10 months before writing the car of, the stage 2 kit gives awesome improvements throughout the range, I have removed it from the car on a couple of occasions and can agree at how easy it is to fit etc. I did opt for a different ECU which at the time Richard could not tune but I know he is getting a lot more experience now of the AEM ECU's.
I did blow my head gasket but how much of that is down to a weakness that was present before adding the blower or the blower itself noone can say, the standard clutch held up fine on mine and I did cover a lot of miles with it. Well worth the money..

The only thing that puts me off TTS, is everything is quoted "+vat" and advised to use bio methonol and dosn't come with a full AEM EMS.
In my opinion, bio methonol is only used when something is too hot, and a full AEM EMS is a must.
