Default Tyre fitting (Surrey/West Sussex)

Hi all.

Does anyone have any recommendations based on personal experience for places in Surrey/Guildford or near Horsham that can be trusted to fit tyres without taking most of the rim paint off?

i knew all the right places in Essex, but since moving over this way I'm a little lost!

Thanks all.

Dan

I live in Guildford and usually use Event tyres. Never had a problem with them and a lot cheaper than some of the tyre shops. If you do want to take the car in, I have used Guildford Tyres before and they were fine and you can watch what they are doing. They're behind the Porsche dealership in walnut tree road.

Guildford Tyres do (or at least did) all the tyre fitting for a wheel refurbishment company in Crawley, so I guess they must be quite accustomed to not damaging rims

These guys in Crawley:
Alloy Wheel Repair | Alloy Wheel Refurbishment | Factory refurbishment, powder coat, wetspray and custom finishes

As you'll see, their main business is refurb'ing alloys and they can be trusted not to cause problems.

Their tyre prices are competitive, but they will also try to price match if you've found tyres somewhere cheaper.

I'd second Ian's recommendation.

There is a Surrey pub meet every last Tuesday of month. See meets section.

Also, keep an eye out for some one off meets later in the year :-)

Well, used Guildford tyre company and was very impressed, so thanks for the good tip!

I'll definitely have a nose at the meets section to find the pub meet too!

Regarding the NSX, I don't think I've been lucky enough to see you yet, I'm sure I'd remember!
