Default Tyre options / opinions

Please can you all give me your feedback as to what other tyres are suitable for front and rear (maybe different?) for the S2000.

What is available that has the right qualities apart from Bridgestone, as I feel they are quite hard.

I have used new Contisport Contact 5P and they were great, but not available at this size?

Has anyone tried the new Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric Mk2?

All feedback gratefuly received.

Thanks.

Tyres are just too subjective to advise. The bridgeys are about the best for everything, but then if you want more dry grip the Ad08's are the impressive tyres to choose.

I'm using the Eagle F1's, great tyres, I find they do wear quicker than others due to the softer compound.

I have a mate who is selling a full set of Goodyear F1-a's off his Lexus, nearly full tread. Alas, wrong tyre size for the S though

Anything with a very stiff side wall, but my first choice, Bridgestones.
It's not the tyre thats hard, it's the suspension. Like it ought to be.

Thanks, but trust me, the suspension isn't as firm as I am used to!

My issue with the Bridgestones is wet weather grip, hence my question. Any other options?

Er, not really, Already done that.

FAQ has precious little info apart from Bridgestones...

I was hoping to get feedback on what else people had tried for road use?

See the thread I linked (which wasn't the FAQ) - lots of owner experiences there.
