Good review and just to add they do suffer from a spongy sidewall when pressing hard in the dry.

Or go for the PS4 and change to matching fronts when the time comes. They are good tyres

Just had an advisory on the MOT that the rears are getting low so I'm having a pair of PS4's fitted tomorrow, the fronts won't be far off as they are starting to crack but with plenty of meat on them. Won't be using the car much over winter and Christmas needs paying for!

Ive got the 3's on at the moment and agree with DanB. Very different to the Bigstones, but they are great for the pisspoor weather up here.

Just bought my S2000 (2005, 17" wheels) on Sunday and it has four brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 4's fitted - anyone have a view on these?

asking as they don't appear on the long list of tyres attached to the thread.

Whats the thinking on the best tyre pressures to run, I know the S is reputed to be sensitive to this.

thanks Ghost, that's reassuring.

What pressures do you run?

Rightly or wrongly I use the stock tyre pressures currently, think it was 32 psi all round maybe a smidgeon lower on the front.

They came out long after the poll was created, and if you read a few posts up, you'll see the list can't be changed.

If you use the "search this thread" link at the top of each page, you can search for a particular tyre. it works very well.

You'll also see the PS4s mentioned in the "Forum Favourites" sticky thread which provides useful info on things like tyres, oil and brakes etc.

Default Uniroyal Rainsport 3

Heavy snow for 35 miles tonight. Captain sensible all the way. Several German luxury casualties along the way. The Rainsport 3s were superb. Predictable and with a gentle tickle got me where I needed to go. They are not winter tyres and they are not an ad08, but if you use the S as a daily d in all weathers they are superb. Recommended
