Interesting that the Michelins have come up here - I'm considering a set of the Michelin Pilot Sport Cups for my S2000 now I've gone to an 18" wheel, on the basis that I believe they're possibly the best tyre available.

That tyre isn't made in 17"?

I reviewed them as trackday tyres (rears only, 16's).
Hands up, despite the fact my track day wheels are painted ugly orange so I'm not tempted to keep them on for the road.. I have.
Have to say, I tried them in the wet on the road, carefully. I think horrendous is a bit harsh.
Obviously not as good as they are in the dry, which I would say is excellent. But I think if I was stuck with them for a wet trackday, I would still have a good time.
Tyres, can be a bit subjective.. grip vs feedback vs longevity vs type of use vs price even

I ordered the 17" full set of S001/RE002 combination from Tyreleader, all in price Inc delivery of £304.96 which I thought was quite reasonable.
Not sure what people expect from the delivery lead times but if it's of interest I ordered these on 27 June and received the S001's on 2 July, but the RE002s didn't arrive until 8 July. Strangely the S001s came from France and 002s from Germany?
The tracking service was pretty good altho you never know a definite delivery date until you get an updated message on the day advising it's loaded and on the way.
Anyhow my friendly parcelforce representative kindly threw my 002's over the garden gate and into the back garden when I wasn't in, and my signature was put on the delivered report ☺

Just got an absolute steal on 4x Kumho KU36s. Can't wait to test them out at the 'ring in a few weeks.
Anyone else running them? Have only ever heard good things about them.

Raced on R888 all season so far and I actually prefer them to A048 now. They get to temp straight away and only fractions slower than A048 over a lap. Bonus of being much cheaper too.
Hopefully running on R888R next season which look like another step on.
