UK exhaust mod negates the need for a stereo...haha!

I had the 38mm Exhaust Mod done on my old S. For me it was perfect...i retained the stock oval exhaust (Best looking imo), and the noise for me was great. Fairly quiet normal driving, and a great tone when giving it some beans. It had a great tone to it.

There's a very competent welder in Southampton who did the exhaust mod for me, as well as various welding jobs on my track 306 Rallye.

Hi primarily sells welding equipment in your area, but is also car enthusiast who takes on welding jobs. At least, he did a few years back. Worth an ask - he did a great job on mine.

Company website
Welding Supplies Southampton | R H Davey Welding Supplies

Ask for Jim Davey, say Chris Bray recommended you

i went with 32mm, and for me it's spot on. On tick over/low revs you wouldn't discern much difference, but as revs build so does the rawness of the note. Never boomy, and under partial throttle my daily commute is inoffensive, but in amongst it it sounds great.

If if you're on whatsapp I'll ping you a drive by vid
