Default UK rear bumper on a Jap Import?

After my lil spin I have damaged my rear bumper and have found a UK spec one, would this fit OK on my Jap import?

I know I will need to get a new number plate. How does the number plate attach to a UK spec one? does it have a holder that clips on to the back on the bumper? As from the picture below I cant see how it would be attached without leaving a big hole around the edge of the plate

Yep - I've done it. Mine didn't have that big hole in it though

Use industrial velcro to fix the number plate on but there should be no hole where the number plate goes.. All clips etc are identical.

I replaced mine because I hated the square Jap numberplate hole.

Ahh it looks look the bumper I have found is missing abit. As on yours you have abit that looks like it sits inside the the hole and goes backwards towards the number plate. (hard to explain)

That big hole is filled by the number plate holder which you should be able to take off your existing bumper and re use.

Instead of Honda making two different rear bumpers they designed one, and changed the plate holder for the different sized rear plates.

The JDM ones don't have a surround.

It's almost as if they got a JDM bumper, made the hole bigger and then put the surround in to make it look neater.

D'oh. Ignore what I said above, Bibbs is right.
This rear bumper is no good to you without that rear plate holder.
