Underseal a new front wing?

Underseal a new front wing?
I had a new front wing fitted 18 months ago due to someone reversing into it, no major damage just a direct replacement from Honda. I guess the garage wouldn't have undersealed the wing when they fitted it. Is it best practice for bodyshops to underseal body panels when they are replaced and I guess Honda underseal them from the factory? If not what's the best stuff to use, Waxoyl from Halfords? If so I'll nip down and get a can, peel back the liner and spray away. I CBA to get the whole underneath done.

Doesn't need anything, panel inners don't get any kind of treatment, the wheel arch liner protects it from the elements, could always give it a coat of waxoyl though for piece of mind if you wanted.

A Dan says, Honda didnt put any underseal in the front wings at all , they in fact barely painted the inside !
But at 13 years old when i recently took mine of fthey were fine apart from the bottom edge where they bolted to the cill , a touch of surface rust.
Honda attempts at underseal under the car are best sketchy and to be honest not very good at best

If it was mine for peace of mind I'd be brush painting it with something like smoothrite black paint and then putting underseal over the top of that.
I wouldn't be surprised if all that's on the inside of the new wing is primer. I wouldn't just assume that a replacement panel will last as long as an original one would. At least you've had a genuine Honda one fitted, the black paint that pattern parts come covered in rusts through in no time if left.

Under the car there is very little in the way of laquer , its mainly a blow over with the colour coat, most spot welds on mine had started to show signs of rust. SO if you mess about doing all that with the new front wings they will last longer than the rest of the car ! Check the lower rear section where its bolted to the cill, that where mine had started to rust albeit only surface
But the wings come of very easily to enable you to deal with any problems. I would think if u have any rust starting at the bottom its most ikly already into the cill as well. Use the Bilt or POR15 system to treat and protect.
That said TobyCHIPPO's car is a a bit older than mine but rust free in these areas
