Its a self healing scratch resistant paint however I do not believe its impact resitance properties are any better than any other paint. Glassurit did something similar For Daimler Chrysler but it does not stop stone chips!

Just been to visit a Venture Tape supplier with some very positive results; I will be having my car done within the next month if anyone wants a look and I will be organising any installations for interested parties at a reasonable price.
For the S2k though its not cheap, but I have found many people are interested in this, nothing else. Oh and they can cover the complete bonnet if you wish.
