Totally agree, but the organisers promise much and deliver little.

Unless it's drifting, they don't like that.

You seemed to have enough power to get past, were you waiting for an indicator?

It depends very much on the organisers.

They are more likely to have a word with you about over taking in the wrong place than the people that won't pull over and let you by.

That being said I always out break them into Tower.

Not really as long as it's done before the braking zone. A lot of people start to slow down on the left hand kink before tower which is well before the no overtake boards so I just keep it planted and go by.

As long as you are ahead by the boards it's fine.

You said 'outbraked' which is dodgy territory on a trackday IMO, unless it's by consent.

Yeah I guess if I were more confident I could have got past. But I'm new to track days and everyone I've been on before people usually yield. I know when someone is behind me I always move over, even if on the straights I lose I out I tend to go quicker in the corners. But that's the nature of the car I guess. In the future I'll just come in and go out the next session.

Edited the OP with two vids, one of the morning with the mic out the back.
One in the afternoon with the mic in the engine bay.
