VIN stickers - On UK cars???
Hi! I am looking for an S2000 - have always wanted one and have now saved up enough - does anyone know if the UK cars were fitted with VIN stickers as they were in the USA? Ten of them on various panels - I have looked at a car yesterday that had no VIN stickers, so it got me wondering...Thanks a lot.

The VIN is stamped on the chassis (just at the firewall), and on the birthcert/plate fixed to the front cross-bar (in front of the radiators). Later editions also had them visible from the windscreen, I think. I don't recall seeing it ten times on different panels...

Thanks...
Thanks a lot...i guess it may be a USA thing then. All the same, a good idea as it helps identify any cars that have had panels replaced and other potential concerns.
I just turned down a car that did not have any stickers...although there were other reasons i was not wanting to buy it as well.
Thanks again for your reply - be keen to hear from others to see if their car has the VIN stickers i mention?

The US cars have the stickers with a bar code and VIN on the bonnet, the boot, both doors, both side panels, wings, front bumper and rear bumper - I have none of these on my UK 06 car.
I do have chassis numbers on the plate on the front cross member, on the firewall and visible through the windscreen.
