Well it's finally here. 8 months of torture are finally over as I took delivery of my new baby from VirginCars.
It looked gorgeous as it rolled off the truck, gleaming in the sunlight. Glad I ended up with black/red and not the silver after all. Got behind the wheel and immediately fell in love with the sound of the engine. It burbs and growls at you as work your way through the gears, the F1 whine increasing in time with your speed. Ah bliss.....
What to say about the gearbox (apart from please don't break). The best I've ever used. It just 'snicks' into gear with a flick of the wrist bringing a huge big grin to my face
The steering is going to take a bit of getting used to. Made me feel as if I've been steering with my feet all these years. I just think about turning and the car is already there. Very precise.
Took next week off work to do nothing but drive this thing. The fun times are just beginning

Have fun! As Cedric said, watch the Oil (Mine's been a heavy drinker!), and watch the back.

Congratulations Ian. Wait until you hit VTEC for the first time The engine note just keeps getting better and better.
I am just about at the end of the week off I took to get the most out of the new car, 1250 miles down so far and still loving it.
Gone through about 500ml of oil so far so be sure to keep an eye on yours. And, as everyone else has said, watch the back end in the wet
