Voodoo knobs - are they really worth it?
Hi all,
I know I'm asking for trouble starting a new 'knob' thread, but is it worth replacing the stock one with a Voodoo, or equivilant? What are the benefits, especially with the expensive titanium version? Thanks! Ps. If you're bored, search for 'Voodoo knobs' and read through the results...v amusing!! :D |
Well worth it, IMO.
It fits better into the palm of your hand, and the countersunk ones make the throw even shorter. The spun titanium looks like the canine's cojones too  But if that's more than you want to spend, an aluminium one would serve just as well in practice. |

In my opinion, they look and feel alot better than stock. The fact that they sit quite a lot lower down makes shifting that bit more comfortable. but thats just my opinion. :D |
...and replacing the wind deflector/aero screen for a larger one (Rick's/Muz's, etc)? Worth it?

I've got the countersunk Voodoo Knob. The reduced throw is great but I've scratched it with my wedding ring !!
I've now got a knob sock on it from Ricks but still well worth it !! Andy :) |
Ah, a good reason not to get married!

It'll probably polish out but the knob sock is warmer to hold on a cold morning !! Andy :) |

I'm surprised it took as many as 7 replies! |
