Hi all,

After discovering two missing bolts from the cat. heat shield I am going to need to replace them, but what bolts can I use? I'm mainly asking because I'm a newbie to DIY and should I be worried about the heat transfer through the bolts?

Any 10mm nuts and bolts will do fine.

They'll be M6 hexagon head bolts, but I'm not sure what length. Probably 8mm or 10mm long I guess!?

They're M6 bolts not 10mm. A 10mm spanner fits their heads though.

If you use locking nuts maybe they'll stay on? Or thread lock

M6 x 15, Hex head set screws.

Aerotite, Aero Lock nuts or Philidas Nuts are good , nylocks will melt, or even just shakeproof washers.

Maybe in Stainless steel

Look up ur local Fastener supplier, they will be a few pennies.
