Chuck wins ! although can you get them in the UK ? last time I ended up finding the closest being this one http://www.carlift-ramp-mr1.com/ which is fine as long as you don't need to use the space in the garage again

Quite daunting when you first use them 'cos they are "big".... they have a locking mech by the way
They look small in the pic as the Jag has a BIG ass! They are 36" long roughly and the tread plate is 12" wide so the XK8 tyres fit on comfortably (about 11" wide).
The S2K fits on great and because they are only about 4/5" high when down they are easy to back onto or drive on to...
The downside is the number of pumps to get them to full height,which is high!, is about 70 ish !

I would love a four poster but not going to happen anytime soon unless I win the lottery and can build a taller garage! Yes, Ray, I am jealous !
