CC stage 4 here. Don't really like it and I can't recommend it.

Too harsh

I'm worried about going for the stage 2 clutch that torque with added supercharger will cook the clutch? Will a competition stage 2 clutch be ok with added torque?

Any track stuff or just really road driving? I was literally about to order the stage 4 competition clutch, But earth worm is saying is to harsh. I do a few road trips and the odd trip to spa and Nurburgring so want a clutch that will last. I'm thinking the stage 2 wil be a good all rounder now but it's only rated at a max of 250ft

You'll be absolutely sound with a stage 2 on a supercharger install. The linear torque increase with superchargers is kind to clutches, vs a turbo where you can get upwards of 200ft lbs increase in a matter of a few hundred RPM.

The CC stage 2 is rated for an 80% increase in torque over oem figures which puts it at about 275 ft lbs.

I was looking at the stage 3 also. But if the stage 2 is up to spec I will go with that. The stage 3 is also a non puck clutch so it works similar to the stage 2

Thread is a little old.
Guys: are your CC ST2 clutches still perfect for supercharged ~400bhp ? Even on track ?

ACT pressure plate is quite difficult (and expensive) to find in Europe...

Mine is (done one track day and 3yrs use of 2-5k per year). But there have been a few stories of them not doing so well. But they are good value, it seems.

Clutchmasters FX300 here. Lovely feel, and well regarded to hold the power down of the bigger Rotrex kits.

Thank you. CC ST2 seems good value, and price is correct.
I have read quite few things about the FX300, but these few reviews were good too.

Both seem to be a good alternative to ACT HD PP for UK/EU guys.
