Interior mirror broke off.....
Ok, so what happened. Well, I got my S2KUK pack through the post this week. I thought about placing the window sticker above the rear view interior mirror. So, I went ahead and tried to pry the mirror from the ball part....but instead, the whole damn thing broke off in my hand.
Bit went all over the place. When I figured out how to refit it all, the mirror had already done a lap of my driveway ( not the most patient of people if I'm honest, quite a short fuse). Anyhoo, I've had a good look at it today now that I've calmed down and the main damaged part is the one that is bonded to the window. I'm going to have to come up with a solution to replace the whole thing though as the screw to hold the spring and clip in place are seized solid.
Has anyone one here ever had to have to whole thing replaced? Or maybe just the bonded part on the window? If so, can you give me ideas on what this is going to cost please? I'm constantly looking into a none existant mirror now and it's driving me crazy already.
Thanks,
Chad.

Not that expensive for the bolts/screw bits.
I had to change mine.
I think the screw turns in the opposite direction to what you expect.
It's a right pain in the ar$e to fit - a lot of patience is needed
