The reason I ask is because I am looking at cars advertised and there seems to be some big variations in price. I know a car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, but was just wondering what cars are actually going for as opposed to be put up for sale for!?

My guess is that mine may sell for around £8,700?

IMO that would be a good price.

Black is quite rare, and the GT is a bonus.

If its a good one 10k.

If its been well looked after and a good example people will pay it.

Hmmm - yes, black is quite rare, I can probably count the amount of black S2000s i've seen on the road in the three years on one hand, - and do you know, I've never ONCE seen a black one with a hard top!

I think its a good one, although i've seen 2005s with lower milage up for around 10k, so didnt think it would be worth as much as that.

Mines a BB 2005 40k GT and is a very good one. I'd put it up for 11k if i wanted to sell it. Someone will pay the price as its a good genuine well looked after car. infact its pretty immacualte (well everybody thinks their car is immaculate i guess)

I paid £8k for a 2004 BB GT with hardtop. 66K miles. Part Honda service history. Not perfect but in good condition. Hope this helps.

I've seen this car in the flesh and althought it was slightly filthy, I think the 10k stated above is a more realistic price

I guess it all depends on how quick you want it gone


Start high so you can always drop the price later

Thanks for the comments. I guess it is tempting to wait until the Summer, but my insurance expires in March, and in my experience, you always seem to get stuff from swapping cars on the same policy....

Then again, I drove my car this morning, and wonder what the hell i could possibly replace it with!??! I am looking to get something more economical and comfortable on longer journeys.. - but I think my heart is going to be broken when she's gone!

Yes Winfreak, - i'm ashamed at how dirty she is at the moment, i'm hoping to get the chance tomorrow to give her a good going over, - she's in desperate need of a pampering!

yup im the same , mine is up for sale ( 2001 Y 6500k ) but im not pushing or trying to sell it, had lots of ' stupid ' offers , but like you , if i wanted one i doubt id ever find a black one as good as mine !
